“We first became aware of Sport Kote about six years ago when a sales representative from our area wanted to come in and demonstrate the product. We allowed them to put the product on over an oil-modified finish. Activities being held in this gym were basketball practice, softball, baseball, track and roller skating. Everything goes on in this gym as these activities are not allowed in our new gym.
Sport Kote was on the floor for at least four years before we decided to re-sand and refinish the floor with Sport Kote. This product, we feel, gives us the proper coverage and protection we need and saves labor time. As long as proper procedures are followed I see no reason why we shouldn’t get at least 2-3 years before recoating.
